What We Do
Life Alliance Organ Recovery Agency (LAORA) is one of the nation’s 57 federally designated organ recovery agencies certified and regulated by the Department of Health and Human Services through the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Life Alliance is a tax-exempt, nonprofit service organization that has the unique role of saving lives through organ donation and transplantation, as well as providing organs and tissues for research to advance medical science.
Our Mission
Provide life-saving organs while caring for the families of organ, eye and tissue donors by turning tragedies into miracles.
Donations are utilized for education in the community.

The transplant journey can present challenging circumstances such as being a patient on the transplant waiting list and navigating post transplant medications and follow up clinic visits. Sharing your experiences with people who are going through, or who have already gone through those experiences, can be an effective way to cope with the stress associated with the transplantation process.
